Growing

I am happy to see that things has changed on the posting interface of this WordPress. I don’t know if it’s growing, but at least things changed.

I don’t know if I have been growing, but I have changed over the past 5 years that I have been away from writing into my blog in this space. Amazing that we want to do something as we continue to change but keep pushing aside that feeling and let 5 years pass by. It’s never too late if we haven’t died.

One interesting change that happened around me over the past 5 years is that AI has become available for us to use in many ways. I love using AI. Searching for recipes, comparing and discussing the details of cooking is particulary satisfying to me. Writing an article like this or writing anything can go faster with refined result. But I will go old school and not use AI in creating my contents, because my intention is to write what I want in the way I want without the worry of making it refined or whatever the format that can be achieved by AI. I am not in a hurry to changing or growing anything, or impressing anyone. So a lot of what I write will likely be awkward sounding.

I just enjoy organizing my thoughts into readable words form through writing. I will write in English for a while to come, because it’s a langugage that is no longer primary to me since I have been living in Japan for the past 35 years. I want to use it to keep open my communication door open to the English speakers all over the world.

I have stopped growing in height when I was around 17. I can still grow in weight, which I will do my best not to. Strong wish I have now is that I am growing in my ability to make people smile from feeling good inside.
