I created a new company, Kikai. Its written 株式会社きかい in Japanese. Depending on how you write きかい Kikai in Kanji characters, it can mean opportunity, machine, strange, or return to the sea. Suits me perfectly! I want this company to offer all those things: a place for opportunity to do whatever we want to do. Joy making, wealth making machine, a place to find mysterious, strange knowledge. As for returning to the sea, 帰海, I am happy to be back at seaside location. All the water on this earth eventually return to the sea, via vapor that rises to the sky, turning into clouds, falling as rain and snow, flowing into river. When I die, moisture from my body will evaporate, become part of the collective water, making its way to the sea. I am a part of this story that is unfathomable to the human senses, but for this moment, I am here writing this, feeling happy.
Kikai is registered to do a variety of things. For now, my priorities are three things: 1. Providing incomparable English-Japanese bi-lingual, bi-cultural (western-Japan) services such as simultaneous interpreting and marketing research services.. 2. Providing a temple like place where anyone can come and experience a moment of reflection, clarity and joy either alone or with others. 3. A purposeful place of education for growth, expansion.
